Fall Begins (September 2025)

After returning from our trip to Michigan, we did some much needed maintenance on our house and our cars. We got in one last visit to the pool with my granddaughter, picked her up from school a few times and stopped for ice cream.

Tammie and I also had some bonding time playing pickleball. We try to play at least twice a week. Sometimes we play with another couple but often we just go and play two or three games with just the two of us.

September was the last month of our Summer Fun Pass at Topgolf. We went several times ourselves, took our daughter, and also took our grandsons. It is a fun way to spend a couple of hours together. We think we got our money’s worth for the Summer Fun Pass.

We ended the month with two trips to North Carolina. First was a trip to Steppe’s Orchard near Hendersonville, NC. Our daughter and granddaughter came with us to help harvest the apples. We also got to pick some sunflowers while we were there. We finished just before a storm arrived.

Our second trip to North Carolina we attended a play at the Flat Rock Playhouse. We saw a matinee of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express then ate dinner at Binion’s Roadhouse. The play was fun and desserts were delicious.
